 1. I want to buy a Japanese Import, but how is my deposit and any other payment guaranteed?

When paying for a car up front you will receive an invoice containing all the conditions of the sale, which includes our terms and conditions of the sale by which were are legally bound. During importation your car is fully insured and should any problems arise your money is secure. If you’re in need of further of re-assurance please check out the links to various car-related forums shown below and search Jurgen or Jm-Imports.

 4. Do you offer any warranties on your imported vehicles?

Yes, we can obtain a warranty for your car through a company called Warranty-Works (www.warranty-works.co.uk). We receive trade discount and from this company and there warranty lengths range from 3 month to 3 years.

We also offer our own “flexible” warranty, where if you have any problems with the car within the first month of ownership we will help to sort it out (depending upon the nature of the fault).

We offer a 3 month parts or labour warranty on lightly tuned cars ONLY..

 5. How does the money back guarantee work?

If the vehicle is not up to your standard when you come to collect it, we will refund all of the money you paid up to that point. We are confident we will exceed your expectation, as we wouldn't purchase any car we wouldn't own ourselves.

 6. Why the need for private import?

For one the cars are in better condition than the UK cars or Imports that have been in UK for a few years..

And most importantly, the private import price is lower to reward you for committing to waiting a few weeks extra for your car to arrive from Japan. This is only available up until 2 weeks before the cars are due to arrive from Japan.

 7. What is your private import agent fee?

The private import agent fee is £750 for this you get all of the above and also the peace of mind your car is being imported via a reputable Importing Company and there are no risks.

£750 is our only profit in the private import scheme.

 8. Why should I use Jm-Imports?

 9. How do I proceed?

AM HAPPY WITH YOUR QUOTE AND I WANT TO USE JM-IMPORTS - WHAT HAPPENS NOW.

PLEASE READ BELOW

5 1) Get back to us by email or give us a call and we will help you the best we can to find your perfect import.
4 2) We will discuss your exact requirements and communicate back and forth about how our system works – you will have the opportunity to ask questions or air any concerns you may have about the anything.
4 3) Once you are happy with everything Jm-Imports is offering, we will then take £500 deposit from you and all THE relevant details - this deposit is used to show your commitment to our company. (DEPOSIT IS FULLY REFUNDABLE IF WE ARE UNABLE TO LOCATE YOUR DESIRED CAR). £25 admin Fee is kept By JM-Imports in the event of no car found. we feel this fee is acceptable as calls to Japan and time on emails costs us money and time.
3 4) Once a deposit has been received we will access our auction databases and dealer websites daily looking for the exact car you have specified, we will also give you access to the auction listings or dealer sites, so if you wish you can search yourself. With over 50,000 to choose from every week it really is just a matter of waiting for a match to come up – on average it may take a week or two until we find the exact car you are looking for, however we could very well purchase the car the same within the same week.
1 5) Once a match has been found, and our bid is successful - we will then have the car transported to our Japanese Agent showroom to await de-registration and shipping as well as a complete road-test and more photos of the car which will be sent to you by email. We will then call you to confirm that an email has been sent.  Now we can make arrangements for the car to be shipped from Japan to the UK or your chosen destination. Now we make arrangements for the 70% balance to be paid and at this point your £500 deposit becomes non-refundable. * Our money back guarantee still applies.....*
7 6) The car will then be loaded onto the next available boat, bound for the UK/Chosen destination. Now we sit back and wait time which is 5-6 weeks depending on the type of boat and sea conditions.
8 7) The boats call into various ports around Europe and the UK – we prefer to use Newcastle Docks. Once the car is in the UK we will email/call you and start arranging the registration process to get your car ready for UK plates.
8 8) At this point we transfer the vehicle to our premises and carry out a full service, road testing and inspection as well as doing all the UK conversions for MOT or ESVA (if req). Also any extras you have requested will be fitted during this time.
8 9) We will give you a call and you can come and test drive your new car. at this point we ask for the remainder of the balance if any is due. If for whatever reason the car does not live up to your standard then of course the 100& money back guarantee applies. Please see www.mkivsupra.net for a testimonial of our company or search google using our company name and you will find we have very happy customers through out the world.
