JM Imports has grown over the past two decades into one of Europe’s leading tuning and performance centres.

At JM Imports Newcastle, we now operate as a fully integrated, multi-functional automotive business.

Our comprehensive in-house capabilities include vehicle servicing, repairs, advanced diagnostics, performance tuning, wheel alignment, race preparation, and full engine builds.

All work is carried out on-site using industry-leading equipment, including our state-of-the-art Dynojet Link and Mainline Pro Hub dynamometers, allowing us to deliver accurate, consistent, and reliable results across a wide range of high-performance and prestige vehicles.

JM Imports was founded from a genuine passion for sourcing exceptional vehicles.

While searching for a specific car from Japan with the correct specification, condition, and value, it became clear that the local market was falling short—vehicles were often misrepresented and did not meet expected standards.

This experience led to the creation of JM Imports, built on transparency, quality, and trust.

Over the last 20 years, we have expanded significantly, evolving from a specialist importer into a complete performance solutions provider.

Today, we work closely with trusted contacts in Japan to source vehicles directly from auctions, dealerships, and private sellers.

Each vehicle is independently inspected and accurately described before purchase.

Once in the UK, every vehicle is meticulously serviced, repaired where necessary, and prepared by the JM team to the highest possible standard—ensuring our customers receive exceptional cars with no hidden issues, no unexpected costs, and complete peace of mind

We currently try to keep around 20 cars in stock for sale at all times at our premises, this is excluding the cars we import for private customers for the UK or overseas that have been ordered specifically for them via our Personal Import Service – Be sure to check that out.

All JM Imports stock vehicles are personally hand-selected by myself and our sales team. We aim to represent nearly every niche of cult and performance sports cars, ranging from exceptionally well-maintained original examples to highly modified builds producing in excess of 1,500bhp.

In June 2020, we opened the doors to our new premises in Benton, on the outskirts of Newcastle, featuring significantly expanded workshop and storage facilities. This allows us to support a wide range of services including tuning, servicing, repairs, upgrades, and vehicle preparation, both for our own stock and our customers’ vehicles. Our experience spans everything from JDM performance cars through to modern supercars.
